Our Story
It's been a wild ride...
We NEVER imagined marrying someone from the opposite side of the country. But we couldn't deny the perfect fit we were for each other.
When we started talking to each other, it raised many eyebrows. Our closest friends and family were skeptical of the person we were Facetiming morning and night across the country. We weren't looking for a long-distance relationship, but we knew the connection we created would be extraordinary if we gave it a chance.
We met through a mutual friend and started talking night and day over Facetime.
That led to planning our 12-week road trip: Coasting. We drove from Vancouver to Regina and then back to Vancouver Island!
David flew back to New Brunswick to pack his things (grab his cat) and move over to Victoria, BC!
We couldn't wait to start our new life together - finally, living on the same coast.
We started working on freelance projects on the side together and it made us realize we had a great thing going and decided to try it full-time.
Coasting Created was born, and we became business partners!
After spending 2.5 years in Victoria, BC, we moved to the other coast!
We moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, at the beginning of the Summer of 2023.
We can't wait to see where life takes us next!
